According to ANA, the employee turnover rate within agencies is abnormally high, around 30%. Needless to say, attracting and retaining agency employees is becoming increasingly challenging and dataxu is dedicated to helping our agency partners solve for this issue by investing in their employees’ growth.
In order to help our customers succeed at a business level, which includes combatting this high employee turnover, we launched the Partner Acceleration Program. This first-of-its-kind program supplements our award-winning technology to provide our customers with the tools and resources needed to help them win new business, grow existing revenue, build competitive differentiation, and attract and retain talent. A core benefit of the program includes a custom workshop event tailored specifically to the professional development of our top tier customers.
The workshop, held last week at dataxu’s headquarters in Boston, included customers from independent agencies, agency holding companies, and media organizations who came from all over the country to attend. The program included two full days of engaging content with breaks built in to allow time to mingle with peers, followed by a networking event at a local restaurant. The content sessions covered exciting and relevant topics such as data-driven marketing, discussions on advanced TV and other emerging formats, and deep-dives into dataxu’s core products.
Day 1: Exploring the future of programmatic
Day one kicked off with a keynote from Aaron Kechley, President of Platform & EVP of Product Management and Marketing, followed by Rory Edwards, VP of Marketplace & Corporate Strategy, who talked about Next generation formats & emerging channels. Attendees then had the chance to hear from Beth Logan, VP of Optimization, and Saket Mengle, Sr. Principle Data Scientist, on Optimization Strategy. The day closed out with Chris Lahaise, Director of TV Solutions, who discussed The Future of TV Marketing.
After the sessions ended, the customers headed over to Bastille Kitchen, a local Boston restaurant, for an event where they had the opportunity to network amongst peers and chat in a more casual setting with the workshop speakers and their account teams.
Day 2: Diving deeper into our marketing solutions
Day two proved to be just as successful.
In the morning, dataxu provided attendees with professional headshots to help update their LinkedIn profiles. The content sessions on day two doubled down on dataxu’s products that these customers use on a daily basis.
It began with a product roadmap overview with our VP of Product Management, Adam Markey, followed by deep-dives with each of the Product Managers of our three core products: TouchPoint™, OneView™, and Clearsight™. Attendees were able to learn about product best practices straight from the source. Afterward, any topics which were unable to be covered during the session were discussed at our roundtable lunch with the Product Management team. To wrap up the workshop, Mike Baker, CEO, provided our attendees with his 15 lessons to Build your career in marketing and beyond.
We were extremely excited to host our customers for what ended up being a huge success. The feedback we have received from attendees reinforces our investment in the program and commitment to our customers.
