Each month xukeepers nominate their fellow colleagues whom they believe embody the dataxu core values Customer Obsession, Excellence, Collaboration, Innovation, and Trust. In March, Drew Greenstein was dataxu’s Xukeeper of the Month. Let’s dive right in to learn a little more about Drew.
Q: Tell me about your role and your day to day life as a xukeeper.
A: In my role at dataxu I work with larger clients to foster strong relationships and drive more value for their marketing initiatives. To do this I take a consultative approach, aligning on client business objectives and acting as a programmatic expert. I advise on media practices, strategize on leveraging new and emerging formats, and plan all media. As part of my role I then work with all internal teams to help facilitate the operational logistics around the media strategy and execution.
Q: Why did you join dataxu?
A: Before dataxu I worked for TJX, while I enjoyed my time there, womens fashion retail was not my forte and it was time for change. In looking back, what really drove me to exploring opportunities at dataxu was the application of data science within marketing. The idea of leveraging data + real time learnings to drive automated decisioning was really powerful to me. Knowing this could affect business outcomes in a major way I was quickly wanting to learn more info and reached out to a friend who worked here.
Q: Fill in the bank: “I once met…”
A: Cardi B. on the sidewalk in NYC outside my client’s office
Q: What is your favorite app you are currently using on your phone? Why?
A: Instagram. I love scrolling endlessly through images from around the world. Mostly nice places to travel, extreme sports imagery, and naturescapes + cityscapes. I also enjoy photography and posting my own pictures [DrewcGreen]

Q: What accomplishment are you most proud of while you have been here at the xu?
A: Since joining about 4 yrs ago, I’m most proud of the growth made with the M+P agency as well as career development I’ve helped foster for colleagues
Q: Last but not least, what is your current favorite jam that you belt out in the car, subway, uber, etc…?
A: Pieces – Rob Thomas (Sam Feldt Remix)
Q: Ok one more, since the weather is warming up. Any fun plans for this summer?
