August has been a month filled with momentum here at dataxu®. Last week, we announced a key new executive hire (Peter Kosmala, formerly of the 4A’s), who is tasked with growing and nurturing our self-serve business as VP of Platform Solutions; earlier this month, dataxu was named one of the 10 coolest companies in Boston (go team!), and late last week, dataxu made Inc. Magazine’s List of fastest-growing private companies—for the FIFTH consecutive year!
According to Inc. Magazine, less than 1/10 of Inc. 5000 honorees achieve this milestone. The select group of five-time honorees even has a special designation—the Honor Roll. Sustaining the high levels of growth needed to maintain a spot on the Inc. 5000 is proof that dataxu’s mission of empowering our customers to connect with real people and use data to improve their advertising is valuable and meaningful to marketing professionals, and for that, we thank them. And in turn, our growth is helping dataxu better support our agency and brand customers around the world.
This caps off an exciting first nine months of the year. We’ve made serious investments in improving our self-serve TouchPoint™ DSP, first with the roll out of a brand-new user interface that was ranked #1 against competitors like Google DBM and The Trade Desk; then with our roll-out of the first self-serve platform for OTT TV buying with custom audiences in May, enabling a holistic cross-device experience centered on connected TV devices. Earlier this summer, Forrester Research found dataxu to be a leader in our space in their latest Forrester Wave, further validating our leadership stance in the industry.
