The Digital Marketing Exposition & Conference (dmexco) is one of the biggest events of the year for the European and global digital marketing industry. This year alone, over 50,000 attendees are expected to make their way to Cologne, Germany for dmexco 2016. I’ve attended the event for the last 9 years.
One perk of actually being German means that I can at least read all of the local signs in Cologne! For first-time attendees, dmexco can be quite overwhelming. In order to help you plan your trip and time at dmexco, DataXu has summarized all of the essential event “need-to-knows” in a handy guidebook.
Download the DataXu dmexco Guidebook 2016: Dmexco is a labyrinth of hidden opportunities. We want to make sure you make the most of Europe’s largest digital marketing conference and the beautiful city of Cologne, so to help you maximize every minute of your visit, we have summarized all the essentials for you! Download our guidebook to discover:
- The best restaurants for client dinners
- dmexco parties you shouldn’t miss
- Hotel and bar recommendations
- And more!
Plan your travel ASAP: If you haven’t booked your flight or accommodation yet – do it today. Cologne’s hotels and restaurants book up completely around the dmexco event. If flights to Cologne aren’t available anymore, try looking for flights to Duesseldorf (only 30 mins away) or if you’re traveling from the U.S., consider a direct flight to Frankfurt followed by a train trip on to Cologne.
Book meetings in advance: Dmexco is quite different from other events and trade shows in that you won’t get much accomplished if you don’t schedule meetings in advance. You might think that you still have plenty of time before dmexco, but the event is only six weeks away! Time to get moving. There is a handy mobile app called SummitSync which you may wish to download that allows you to connect with other dmexco attendees in advance.
